After receiving a textile degree from Moore College of Art in 1978, K. Riley went on to explore her interests in fashion and fabrics by developing a line of hand painted silk clothing. She has exhibited at the pretigious Smithonian Museum Craft Show, Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show and the American Craft Council Shows . Her award-winning work has been featured in Ornament Magazine and shown in select galleries and boutiques nationwide.

For over 25 years, in her Philadelphia area studio, Riley has worked to create clothing with quiet beauty and elegance. Painting, applique, stitching and beading are some of the many techniques she has employed to develop each piece. Her interesst in historic clothing and fashion are relected in her attention to hand stitched detail and subtle color. The garments and accessories are all one of a kind or limited edition, "My choice to make each piece personally maintains the high quality I demand.
