The Spring 2009 Collection is a retrospective of the best and favorite colorways and patterns of the last 15 years of design. In it, Patricia showcases the playful patterns and rich colors for which she is known. Patricia actually begins designing the collection in the spring of the previous year by going to her beach studio for an intense week of color experimentation, pulling a color concept from her imagination, then finding just the right combination of dyes to reflect the mood or imagery she desires. This season enjoy the best of the best in classic and updated styles.

From the window of her treehouse Patricia is witness to the season changes, as greens become yellow and red and gold and sometimes just brown. Fall 2008 is about change and preparation, a retreat from the sun and warmth that finally seem too harsh. Colors in the Fall Collection become more mysterious, rich, and satisfying in ways different from the lights and brights of Spring.
