A career that has been distinguished by the use of sophisticated colors and strong geometric shapes. Babette's embellishments are kept to a minimum and any detail must have a useful function. The success of her pleated raincoat in the early 90's spurred more experimentation with different kinds of pleating for other uses in her Pleated Sportswear line.

She and her Co-Designer, Josephine Tchang have expanded the company's offerings to create an entire sportswear collection that is a lifestyle solution for discerning women.
